Singapore 2019Mar(1)

I’ve come to think in the following way by reading your past posts concerning United ; we have to keep in mind that United is really, exactly excellent in mysteries-commerce.
Just after one of the mysteries gets on in life and comes to the front, it begins to deteriorate immediately.
That's like ‘As soon as man is born, he begins to die’ (lol).

Regardless of what way or manner it improves (or degrades…LOL), bringing up to date of United’s business class must be a positive act.
In this way, let’s look at what will occur in the forthcoming time.
Though I guess your most wanting speculation would always be the difficulty to boosting to Polaris class, right ?

However, United Polaris Burger looks great, doesn’t it ?
Talking about saving the best for last, I’d order the burger if I could fly to San Mateo and could visit the lounge on the homeward journey.
Isn’t it an amazing burger with all the decorations along with bacon, vegetables and a fried egg.
The exclusively insignificant letdown is… no fries, yet I could see chips alternatively.

    1. Yamada Denki sensei,

United certainly has short lives of their new services and that’s because of workers’ union. Everything newly introduced but if it requires more burden to United’s employees, such as wine tasting on Polaris business, course menu served in United Economy, could live only a quarter – 3 months or less because cabin attendants didn’t like those ideas. On the other hand, if there is another way to increase their salary, it’s widely accepted such as introducing Chase MileagePlus credit cards in the airborne (it’s so annoying PA just after the take off…) and if the passenger enrolled the Visa card, attendant can receive $200. Or, 1K Desk representatives are now strongly pushing to sell hotels and rental cars during the stay in the destinations when we called to ask their help for air reservations. I don’t know how much the rep can earn but some reps are hustling and pushing to sell additional crap. That’s why United will become world’s first prostitution-activated airlines, I guess. I do not blame they will be introducing the very first occupation of human being’s history, in the air. Hope United offers free condoms as well as the crews are perfectly vaccinated for STDs. Then I’d love to pick some, probably from cockpit crew because they are “cock-pit” staffs. (LLOOLL)

But surprisingly, there’re not only degrading but adding positive services. For example, on March 19th, when I entered Polaris Lounge SFO around lunch time, the meal started with small bytes which was crackers with tapenade (olive paste). The vast majority tends to degrading but the chef inside of the kitchen is thinking something positive they can do for their guests. I really appreciate such effort spending for us. A few good men are still remaining in United.

They say each Polaris Lounge has different style of “Polaris Burger,” so if possible, I will try other Polaris Burgers in Houston, LAX, Chicago O’Hare or Newark Liberty in the future, before those items and services burnishing away.
