Strange colored piggie-nose

wwwwwwwwww

  1. This is yet another breaking news update. Yesterday, two bottles of "Organic Shochu Kame Shizuku Gen 1,800ml" arrived at the clinic. I tried it as soon as I got home and it had a smooth and refreshing aftertaste, making it easy to drink on the rocks. However, as there is still over a month until your visit to Okayama, I wonder how many bottles of premium shochu we have received so far? Your dedication is understood not only by me but also by Dr. Doi, so please do not worry about it any further.

Now then... Has there ever been such a specialized article "just for me" in the history of this blog? Actually, it was written at the beginning that this is an urgent insert article aimed at only one reader (lol). But who knows, maybe masa-san will be interested?

It is clear that this is a 6 Series GranCoupe, but many BMW owners remove the emblem that indicates the grade name. If we unravel the psychology behind this, it may be because they do not want to be looked down upon by owners of higher grade models within the same series (lol). From the shape of the front grille, it is clear that this is not an M6 (as the grille slats are double for an M6). Taking everything into consideration, this is a 640i GranCoupe, at least 10 years old.

As for the color of the paint, it seems to be a color that is not available for Japanese import cars. However, different colors may have been available for the American market, so I will refrain from commenting on this.

    1. Yamada Denki sensei,

Well… I originally planned to deliver those turquoise colored jars in mid-May, but the distillery (not brewery, right?) didn’t receive so many preorders hence my order has been already processed… I guess. I have already received very nice appreciation letter from Dr. Doi and he says he got one more correction in his cellar… so I asked him to consume as quick as he can, like you, sensei. Anyway, that one is another “Limited Edition” of organic shochu so please try it at your earliest convenience (I don’t worry about it anyway though).
Because those jars arrived unexpectedly early, I requested the distillery for arranging mid-May arrival on the next one. See what happens… (lol)

Yes, masa-san is another Beamer but he drives SUV, not a sports cars. I think you are the only the owner of these coup-style or sedans with highest consumption of fossils, damaging the atmosphere as severe as possible.

So… this is 6 series of piggy-nose. And you expect this is a lemon 640i, not M-named ones… and I am totally idiotic about West German cars, but M-named ones are somewhat similar to AMG branded ones by Mercedes? So confusing… but wait! does 6 series have 4 doors, not 7 series?? This is also confusing… so I briefly checked out the Google Images, then I understood. I suppose the name “Gran Coupé” gives 2 more doors, I guess.

These days, because San Mateo county is one of the richest areas in the States, I see so many different piggy-nosed ones… and we have electric recharging posts in front of San Mateo Station, so many pigs hanging around with Tesla or Leaf, for example – iX is super ugly big piggy-nosed car (SUV?) I was threatened, or i7 is another strange designed car… then, i3 is as popular as Tesla cars, those Smart-look models are everywhere. However, the beauties of these BMW cars are QUIET!! (lol)

I also searched an orange painted 6 series Gran Coupé on Google, then the closest one is “2012 F13 BME 650i Gran Coupé xDrive FIRE ORANGE.” What found was… the original orange is so ugly already… I could reconfirm some San Mateans really have strange sense of favor of colors, and the yeven don’t care when it’s faded like this one.

  2. Yes, I also like the turquoise color of the jar containing "Kame Shizuku Gen." It even feels a bit of a shame to throw it away. I see, so this premium shochu doesn't receive many preorders.

Dr. Doi sent you a thank-you email, huh? Does that mean my innocence is finally proved? (lol) Oh, he has a secret cellar, huh? He probably has a charming personality of "saving the best for last" when it comes to delicious food, so even if you ask him to consume it quickly, he might refuse. Maybe he still hasn't uncovered it when you visit Okayama?
On the other hand, I'm the type of person who eats delicious food right away, so you don’t have to worry at all (lol).
What? You even arranged for a limited edition? I'm even more grateful now.

Yes, masa-san is also a bimmer, and at the same time he's a big fan of large dogs, so I can understand why he drives an SUV instead of a sports car. I still like cars with four doors, whether it's a coupe or a sedan, but I have a bit of resistance to SUVs or minivans. Maybe I'm an old-fashioned person who was drawn to the catchphrase "Someday, I will be an owner of Crown."
Furthermore, I am a person who likes "driving harshly to the earth while scattering large amounts of carbon dioxide," which goes against ecology. There are even people who praise me for it. That's the manager of the gas station near my clinic. "Nowadays, everyone is switching to fuel-efficient cars or electric cars, which is sad. People like you who drive gas-guzzling cars are rare and greatly appreciated by us," he says (lol).

    1. Yamada Denki sensei,

Why don’t you use that jar for Tonkatsu sauce? It looks like exactly the same as sauce pots, and the scoop too, in Tonkatsu specialty restaurants – which my mom doesn’t like because of “sauce pero pero terrorists” scares. (lol) Last time I remember they served the jar in marbles, and your wife-san considered to use that jar for pickled plums, and I replied “No!” strongly. (lol) Anyway, I just got the reply from that distiller that the next shipment (named Kuro-chan (lol)) was set on mid-May when is I requested, so there will be no extra shochu for four weeks. And then, please don’t worry. I will immediately stop serving those charms just after the colon exam. ;)

So Dr. Doi’s behavior is considerable if he goes to Chinese restaurant because the best and tastiest dishes come very last. If he preserves something he thought was the best, the serving procedures completely betray his thoughts. And for you, sensei, is the perfect fit to the course menu at Chinese restaurant. (lol)

Since I moved to California, I am a big fan of mini-vans or SUV’s because of the high eye point. Also, those cars feel safer. Actually, when I purchased Honda Accord from the company, I didn’t like it even it runs very smoothly and the best controllable car I ever drove. But my better-half-san’s Dodge Grand Caravan feels much safer and stronger if I carsh it, and actually I crashed it in the end of 2008, and then I was safe, only blue by the safety belt remained for a while. Since then, I stopped driving. And we bought Kin-san because that car was the highest numbers, 10 of safety bags embedded inside. Fortunately those bags never retracted so far. (lol)
My father was a strong enthusiast of Toyota Mark II by Toyopet. From the first edition to two models before Mark X, he kept buying new models even in minor changes… I couldn’t imagine how he can manage the family finance and keep buying a new acr almost every year. But, his enthusiasm of Mark II suddenly ended. On that day, my father asked my mom, my sister and me “I will buy a new car but which do you like, Mazda RX-7 or Crown?” This was the most insane question I never heard from my father… and girls’ answer was obvious “Crown, of course!” I was a bit enchanted Savanna RX-7 that type-12A Wankel engine equipped flog like sport car with retractable head lights. However, one of my senior at T (not Shonan Senior-san but two years up) had that flog, do I asked to give me a ride as well as see inside of engine food (←American. “bonnet” in English and common in Japan). The ride was quite sporty, which will be uncomfortable for girls, I thought, and the biggest surprise was; when senior-san opened the hood, what I can see was… surface of road. The small rotary engine was “front mid shipped” hence the main mechanism were almost under the drivers’ side, nothing in the front except the radiator cooler. It may be a clever design but I was shocked and disappointed. And the fuel efficiency would be the worst. (lol)
I totally understand your preferences – the gas munching vehicles. Please be careful about the tree huggers might be attacking you, or your piggy-san.

  3. As you said, M in BMW is similar to AMG in Mercedes, but there's also another brand called Alpina in BMW.
If M aims for pure sporty driving, then Alpina aims for luxurious, comfortable, and fast limousines. Of course, Alpina also participates in races and completes driving tests at the Nürburgring, so it also has a circuit-level performance. Furthermore, Alpina places great emphasis on comfort.
Personally, I like M, and when I purchased the M850i, I also considered the M8. The hardware basics of both cars are the same, but the engine power is 530ps for the M850i and 625ps for the M8. Naturally, since the M8 has a more spartan ride, I chose the relatively more comfortable M850i. I'm just putting on airs, but the reality is that the price tag for the M8 is over 7 million yen more, which is out of my budget.
However, as someone like me who loves driving with the sunroof open all year round, the fact that the M8 doesn't even have a sunroof setting made it a tough choice for me.
I'm just talking big, but besides the M850i that I have now, I've only owned three 7 series BMW cars, so I can't make a proper evaluation including M.

By the way, I find it a little strange that you didn't even know the series name of this lemon-colored BMW car. Because a while ago, I seriously considered purchasing an M6 GranCoupe and had you create a "M6 GranCoupe Nighthawk" in the special ordered paint color of Frozen Black, using your excellent image technology, and even brought it to a BMW dealer for a quote (I even remember showing the quote to senior-san and masa-san at a longstanding restaurant in Tsukiji called T). Like the aforementioned M8, the M6 also didn't have a sunroof setting, and didn't have the Active Cruise that I use regularly, so I didn't end up signing the contract.

    1. Yamada Denki sensei,

I heard the name of Alpine but I didn’t know it’s belonging to BMW… it sounds like an audio manufacturer for automotive like… Clarion or Harman Kardon?.

530 ps pr 625 ps means… 530 horses or 625 horses in one car chassis? About 20 years ago, there was a TV ad by Ferrari, introducing their new car, 360 Modena F1?, is running on a green field and 400 horses are chasing that Ferrari 360. Now your Piggy-san is 32.5% more powerful than 400 horses Ferrari?? That IS insane. BMW must introduce a TV ad a black colored pig running on the green field, 530 or 625 horses are chasing that black pig. Isn’t it amazing? (lol)

I remember I retouched a BMW which already looked very nasty, turns into everything black and much nastier… I am so delighted you didn’t purchase that car. That dark-side machine is for the person who represents Death… oops, do you? Really? (sweat)
That Nighthawk version doesn’t have sunroof or moonloof for sure because it’s made with carbon graphite, correct? More importantly, that car looks too nasty and it represents the driver must be coming for Death… do you? Really?
And furthermore, I do remember BMW also introduced a car painted with Vanta-black world most blackest thing. That blackest car in the world is definitely, absolutely and totally representing for death… (the rest is omitted)

  4. Oh, I see. It's not Alpine, the car accessory manufacturer, but rather Alpina, the smallest German automaker (well, they both deal with cars, so they're somewhat similar, right?). It's true that the name Alpine does sound like it could be related to automotive audio manufacturers like Clarion or Harman Kardon. By the way, Harman Kardon is factory-installed in BMW 7 and 8 Series, and if customers are willing to invest an additional 700,000 yen or so, they can choose Bowers & Wilkins as an option. I always go for B&W (just casually boasting?).

So, it's a video of a green field with 400 horses chasing a Ferrari 360? It's a somewhat straightforward yet slightly confusing imagery (lol). Come to think of it, is my M850i really 32.5% more powerful than a 400-horsepower Ferrari? Well, if I were to utilize all the power of the M850i, it would indeed be insane, but as you've experienced sitting in the passenger seat, I probably haven't even used a hundred horsepower of its full potential. Oh? 530 horses chasing my M850i? It might be more comical and entertaining if it were 530 pigs chasing the M850i which should be their mother pig (lol).

Yes, I vividly remember when you modified the BMW M6 and turned it completely matte black. I was truly impressed by your image editing skills at that time. Unfortunately, I had to give up on purchasing that car because it didn't have the option for a sunroof and active cruise control. But even now, I continue to fantasize about what it would have been like if I had bought it, thinking, "What if?"...
