After they’ve got listed on the Michelin book, it is getting harder and harder to secure their table, which is a bad news for us as a local as well as having a long relationship with owner’s family.

I didn’t know they have an open kitchen. I'm always receiving the front side table and never invited the deeper area of the venue, where would be a bit noisier, I guess.

We shared the appetizers, the cured meats on the board and a pizza, but not sharing the pasta dishes which is a bit unusual to split into two. Instead, we usually exchange a spoonful or a mouthful of dishes those are enough amounts to evaluate the taste and quality.

At the Italian restaurant, “House-made (or Home-made) pasta” is the important element for being a higher end of their quality quinine, I think. Under such circumstance, both Pausa and Vespucci are doing well serving their own and creative paste and gnocchi. (Sorry for the mixed plural expression in English and Italian)
BTW. Generally speaking, vast majority of Italian restaurants are offering fresh ravioli, gnocchi, pappardelle, tagliatelle, etc. but no macaroni nor spaghetti. Because macaroni and spaghetti are normally paste seca (dry pastas) which is ready-made, not pasta fresca (fresh pasta) by house made.

When you visit San Mateo, I can take you for both Vespucci and Pausa so that you may ‘diagnose’ by yourself, doctor. :))obaKobahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05520586031308040420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9030843786433538220.post-13842418099544823832018-04-11T23:48:05.532-07:002018-04-11T23:48:05.532-07:00obaKoba-sann,
