Sensei; you wrote “really, cer...Best Denki sensei,

Sensei; you wrote “really, certainly, honestly and/or totally”… is that such an intensive issue?? For me, because United is everything, I don’t feel any discomfort or unpreasant sensations from their so-called “services” at all… except those ‘creative’ Japanese-inspired meals. Welcome to the Friendly Skies®! (LOL)

IMHO, Polaris™ is just a marketing name tocompete with DeltaONE®, I suppose. It could be United BusinessPlus, KrisFlyピー, or Club ANピー… well the biggest change is the hardware – newly developed seats with privacy. It really works well if you could get the window-side assignment but I personally skeptic the comfort of even numbered rows where people on the isle easily watching you… Otherwise, the meal services have been modified like “wine tasting” but lots of those modifications are already lasting probably the cabin attendants are strongly against to those extra work.
I thought the ex-United’s hidden motto “company of the union, by the union, for the union” was ended, but it may certainly grandfathered to ex-Continental workers as well.

At this moment, I seriously cannot tell how the cabin crew’s attitude changes in the future… for me, I am okay if they keep “Friendly Skies™” since I don’t expect anything further like SQ or NH. From my perspective, the service at NH is a bit sticky and… I don’t know why but I feel somehow arrogant feeling from the cabin crew of SQ (like the servicepersons at French Laundピー).
I often read some complaints by Japanese passengers on United, but they might be expecting too much from American company. They are not ANA nor JAL, but Friendly Skies where crews are severely neglecting passengers. Welcome to America!
