The Nodaiwa has a long history...Best Denki sensei,

The Nodaiwa has a long history and one of the most famous Unagi specialties in Japan, located in Atsu-san’s hometown Azabu. That place is too highly sophisticated so I even visited few times during my life in Tokyo. (Or, that area is so isolated from public transportations in good old days. (lol))

I also like Obana (尾花) in Minami Senju but that place requires making line before opening, then wait almost an hour on the hard wood floor, no chairs available… the taste of Kabayaki is good but doesn’t have worth spending such endeavor for me during my limited timeframe in Tokyo these days. There are good Unagi restaurants in Narita or Shibamata but Ginza is the best venue for me since I can simultaneously do several things such as replacing watch batteries at Wako or Shelman, buying special stationeries at Ito-ya, getting highest-end baumkuchen at Nenrin-ya as souvenirs, or stopping by Citibank ATM, etc.

Also, eels are not כּשר (kosher) because this fish doesn’t have scales which is a restriction of my family in law. However, myself as a Chiba origin, we eat eels, catfish or even whales without scales (LOL). I can’t disclose about such eating disorder to my family in law.

Anyhow, bottom line, Nodaiwa is my best restaurant for Unagi Kabayaki every time when I visit Japan.obaKobahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05520586031308040420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9030843786433538220.post-47949998925149154012018-03-14T11:01:31.686-07:002018-03-14T11:01:31.686-07:00あつさん、
